Unified Cow Protection and Tracking System - Inviting Tech companies and institutes

Project Proposal for Technology Institutes and Tech Companies - Unified Cow Protection and Tracking System (UCPTS)

Save Cows India Charitable Trust (SCICT) is looking for pro bono support and CSR from Technology Institutes and IT companies in India.
Project Overview: To develop a centralized dashboard to track the lifecycle of Indian breed cows, from birth to natural end-of-life and enhance cow protection and welfare with a focus on preventing illegal slaughter and smuggling.

Software Requirements:
1. Unified Dashboard:
   - Create a comprehensive software platform that integrates data from RFID tags, GPS tracking, and health records.
   - Ensure real-time monitoring of each cow's location, health, and lifecycle status.

2. Cow Breed Identification:
   - Deploy an AI-based identification system using visual or ear tags for unique identification.
   - Maintain an accurate database for tracking individual cows.

3. RFID Integration:
   - Introduce cost-effective tracking devices, akin to Apple's AirTag, for each cow.
   - Provide precise location data to facilitate quick response by BSF and other authorities.

4. Health Monitoring:
   - Implement a health monitoring system to track vital signs, vaccinations, and medical history.
   - Set up automatic alerts for health irregularities to enable prompt government intervention.

5. Geofencing and Alerts:
   - Establish geofences around approved grazing areas to prevent unauthorized movement.
   - Automate alerts to authorities for immediate action if a cow exits these boundaries.

6. Data Security:
   - Ensure the highest standards of data encryption and secure storage protocols.
   - Protect sensitive data against unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Support Requested: - Collaboration with technology institutes for research and development of the AI identification system.
- Partnership with tech companies for the provision of hardware and software resources.
- Expertise in data security to safeguard the integrity of the tracking system.

Outcome Expectations: - Significant reduction in illegal cow slaughter and smuggling incidents.
- Improved animal welfare through proactive health monitoring.
- Enhanced accountability and transparency in cow protection efforts.

Next Steps: - Engage with potential technology partners to discuss collaboration opportunities.
- Initiate a pilot project to test the feasibility of the proposed solutions.
- Develop a detailed project timeline and budget for full-scale implementation.

This proposal aims to leverage cutting-edge technology to ensure the welfare and protection of cows, aligning with the goals of the Animal Husbandry & Agriculture department of the Indian Government.
